Most of the affiliate programs I find are scams.Only a few like SFI,Googles and Yahoo are the ones you can believe and trust that will really pay.I have wasted quite a good number of years trying to search for a good reliable program.It just flashed my mind that a yahoo affiliate program would be the best.I just do not have a web page of my own.I would be grateful if anyone can help me to join a yahoo affiliate program without a web page of my own.Further,it is a problem to get a PayPal account without a credit card.I as a Senior Citizen in India is not eligible to have one.We are allowed to have only Debit Cards and that too only INR.

How serious are you about building a business online? If you’re serious, and willing to get better over time, and realize that your business will take time (investment on your part) to grow, then you’ll overcome the obstacle of getting a PayPal account.

You don’t need a credit card to get a PayPal account. Whoever told you that isn’t telling you the truth.

What I would recommend you do to make money is get started with a free Blog.

www.blogger.com would be a good place to get a free blog.

Your blog will become your web site for now. Later, you can take the work you’ve done in blogger and put it on an actual web site of your own.

You will have a small learning curve at learning to use Blogger, and it might be frustrating to learn how to use it. Get through any frustration and just stick with it.

Then, pick a topic you like to talk about. Doesn’t even matter what the topic is at this point. But, let’s say the blog is going to be about "issues facing senior citizens" or even more specifically, "issues facing senior citizens in India".

Once you start getting some content up, and something worthwhile for people to read, become an affiliate at a web site called ClickBank.

You will need a PayPal account to get paid by Clickbank, so be sure you figure out how to set up a PayPal account.

Then, at Clickbank, go to Promote Products –> Click on Marketplace –> and do a search for senior citizen.

Again, there is a learning curve to making real money with a real business, and real affiliate programs, but getting through the frustration and building a business online is absolutely worth it.

If you are looking into ways to set up and get your affiliate links, you might want to sign to your affiliate control panel, If you don’t know how, you can contact their support for help.

By the way if they can not help you with such issues, then this will be a glaring indication to rethink your position in promoting such a program. If they can’t support and help you, how do you think they are going to treat the visitors you are sending their way?

I have to agree with another poster and gave them a thumbs up. They are correct about affiliates being home based business owners. Your not hired your build a business through collaborations within a company. A business within a business. Kind of like if you were to open up a McDonald’s, you’d own that particular business, but you wouldn’t own the entire chain or McDonald’s. Just that one restaurant.
Affiliate business owners have the same income opportunities as a traditional owner, they just do it the smarter way and have less over head. Most of the overhead expenses are things they have to pay for each month anyway, like house payments, Internet and telephone services, electricity, car expenses etc etc. Only they were going to use these things regardless if they went into business or not. Also the fact that everything like that becomes a tax write off. With that, yes joining an affiliate program is not a bad idea, it can be an actually good idea.
I’m a mom and understand you needing to find a way to make money at home. A lot of people are going into business for themselves and running them out of their homes. The way the economy is giong, gas price inflation, it’s pretty much forcing people to have to find alternative ways to make their income. Home based businesses (affiliate programs) are an excellent way to do this. Like I said, you have the same income opportunity as a traditional business.
How long does it take to build an income with this line of work? That all depends on you. It’s your business, not a job you are not hired, so you have to build the business from the ground up. How long it takes you really depends on you and no one else.
